       During the week before we had to film, I made a list of every piece of equipment needed to film our project as well as all the props needed. To start off we were able to rent out a big light, a dashboard cam, a Steadicam holder, and 2 microphones from my teacher. We needed a big light due to us needing to film the inside and outside of the house. In case it gets dark we will be able to light up the subject making it easier to film and see. A key light provides the main source of lighting for the subject, this helps define their features. It also helps build characters and can easily communicate the difference between the hero and villain. To add on, we also got a dashboard cam holder for the car scenes of us getting in. This will make the camera steady and give it good continuity. The Steadicam holder will be used for mainly the inside scenes as we are doing a lot of pans and tracking shots. Lastly, we got two microphones for those that are talking during the film. This will make the sounds clearer and more professional. Having access to all these pieces of technologies is key to the production of a good film. With out them our, sound, lighting, and camera steadiness would be off, decreasing the value of our film.
